Like most of us at Abcor, Jos has also had a track record in business, before becoming a trademark attorney.

He worked for many years in the computer hardware industry, including brands like Tulip Computers, Ingram Micro and Maxdata / Belinea. Jos has a Master's degree in Law and Technology at the University of Tilburg, after completing a Bachelor in International and European Law. As a result of his previous IT experience, Jos tends to go for the outer-limits of what’s possible. No text-book advising, but looking for real opportunities, to help a company protect its accumulated goodwill, even if this has to be accomplished in an unorthodox way.

In addition to his role as a father, Jos is a fanatic oarsman and enjoys to spend his holidays hiking through the Swiss Alps.

Defendant sells chewing gum under the trademark DENTYNE PURE and has registered its logo as a trademark. Infringement or not?
